Local Processing
All thumbnail generation happens entirely on your Mac. Your USDZ files never leave your device. The app:
- Reads USDZ files you select or drag into the app
- Processes them locally using macOS frameworks
- Saves thumbnails to locations you specify
Network Access
ThumbGen 3D does not require an internet connection to function. The app does not make any network requests or connect to external servers.
File Access
The app only accesses files that you explicitly select or drag into the application. It uses macOS sandboxing to ensure secure file handling.
